L4: My World Has Spinned Around Heptathlon
The weekly wrap up summarizes the past week’s actions and feelings.
Goals
- The 3000m Cooper Test Challenge
Actions
- This week was dedicated just for one event:
- Thursday: Heptathlon, 2,5 hours
Rewards
- Heptathlon aftermath (sauna and beer).
Motivation
- Heptathlon was a long awaited event. It was intentionaöl to rest before the event, but I didn’t know it would take rest of the week just to recover! My legs have been so exhausted that I haven’t trained anything else at all. I’ve taken the time to recover, but I’ve noticed that I’m getting more and more anxious to get back on my training routine.
- Weather has changed. The autumn is coming, so the mornings are dark and it has been raining quite often. This is challenging for the motivation, but I think I just need to get used to running in bad weather again. It’s really just a matter of getting myself out there
Other
- 52lives is now active in couple of communities:
- Flickr. I’ve put some pictures there and the collection will grow along the way.
- Facebook. This fast growing community has gotten my attention! More and more of my friends are creating their profiles there and there are lots of useful/fun application that you can use to extend your profile. I’m thinking of publshing an application by myself, but first I need to get familiar with the development guidelines. If you want you can send me a friend request, just put 52lives.com in the comments.
- BlogRush is a new widget for blog promotion. You install the widget to your blog (see the example on 52lives left sidebar) and it will show bunch of blogs that are under the same category as your blog. When people click on the links, you’ll get points and your blog will get visibility in other sites’ widgets. I’m trying to get more audience for 52lives with this widget, so please check out if there are some interesting titles in 52lives’ widget
