L2: Weekly Wrap Up
The weekly wrap up summarizes the past week’s actions and feelings.
Goals
- The 3000m Cooper Test Challenge: 2600 meters this week.
Actions
- Cooper test. It was time to take the biweekly Cooper test and my goal was to run 2600 meters. Evidently the last weeks’ training paid off, since I could run 2650 meters. That’s 150 meters more than I ran couple of months ago.
Rewards
- Beer and sauna. My friend just got a baby, so he had a party for bunch of friends. I would have gone anyways
but again it felt like a reward.
Motivation
- I talked with couple of guys in the party who had run 3000+ meters in Cooper test. We didn’t talk about training, but I got more confident with my goal. I even started to think about that it doesn’t require that much training, but we’ll see
- I’m driven to achieve the 3000 m limit soon. There are 2 motivators: I could already run 2 laps with the required speed and the weather is getting colder
