I’m a fan of parkour. I haven’t tried it myself, but the videos I’ve seen leave me breathless. How these guys do it? After watching this video I imagined myself hanging on a 4-store high building and then looking down to the ground. Just imaging that gave me the chills. Maybe someday I have the courage to hang on a roof edge, without thinking about falling…
A friend of mine practises parkour and he said running is essential part of this sport. There’s much more running involved than you would excpect at first. The intensity levels vary, so you quickly run out of energy without good endurance. I can imagine that if you’re exhausted, you make mistakes more easily. You wouldn’t like to make a mistake when you’re 6 meters above the ground
That’s a good motivator to keep doing the running exercises.
