I like to keep my running gear and dirty laundry separated from my clean clothes while travelling. There are two good reasons for doing it. First, it keeps the clean clothes clean. The seconds reason is that once you arrive home, you can easily put all the dirty clothes to the laundry and the clean ones back to the closet, This way you save time and nerves every time you return from a travel.

The usual way to handle dirty laundry is to have a laundry bag. I’ve used plastic bags since they are often available. The problem with common plastic bags is that they don’t isolate the smells well since you can’t close the bag tightly. You also have to untie the knot every time you put more clothes in the bag.

I was lucky to find an excellent laundry bag - by accident, of course. I bought a La Robe’s laptop sleeve to protect my MacBook, but I also got a perfect laundry bag! The sleeve was packed in a thick plastic bag which has a plastic zipper. I already used the bag on a weekend trip and I could fit all my laundry in it. Here’s a picture of the bag inside my suit case.

The most important feature in the bag is the plastic zipper. I wanted to try if I can fix the zipper if it gets broken and I was happy to see that this zipper can be fixed in a minute without any tools.

And last but not least, this laundry bag helps you to save the Earth! It’s the last plastic bag you ever have to use for your laundry!
