- It's Time To Do More Pull-ups
As the days are getting colder and I’m spending more time inside the house, I thought it is time to add another challenge for my 52Lives schedule. Since I was a kid I dreamed of doing pull-ups. I had long and weak arms with a heavy body attached to them, so the results weren’t what I expected
But once I got older, things got better. When I was 18 years old I could do 12 pull-ups. That’s still my personal best and I would like to break that record. Again I like to think big and set my goals high..
The Ultimate 30 Pull-up Challenge”.
I’m aiming to do 30 pull-ups. That’s more than double what my personal best is, so in my case it’s a BIG challenge. I’ve named the challenge “The Ultimate 30 Pull-up Challenge”.
Stephen Hyland from Great Britain holds the record of 3,750 pull-ups (he used 8:03 hours to do them
). Can you imagine somebody doing that many pull-ups??? I have to say I’m amazed, actually I’m blown away by the thought! The good thing is I find comfort from this information: if Stephen can do 3,750 pull-ups, I bet I can do 30! I just need to start training.
I found this pull-up video from YouTube and I wanted it to share it with you. Take a look at this guy, he’s making the whole thing look ridiculously easy!!!
I’m going to make some sort of a training plan for this challenge and publish it here at the 52lives.com. Make sure to check back on “The Ultimate 30 Pull-Ups Challenge”!
